Stray: Full Collectibles & Memories Guide
All 27 Memory locations, how to find every Badge, and where to get the optional cat-only interactions.
What Are Memories?
Memories are environmental collectibles — glowing mementos scattered throughout the game. Collecting all 27 unlocks the Remembering Humanity trophy/achievement. They're easy to miss since the game doesn't mark them on any map.
Chapter-by-Chapter Highlights
The Slums — The richest chapter for Memories. Check the rooftops above the bar and the musician's apartment window ledge. The Graffiti on the alley walls counts as a Memory — interact with every mural.
The Sewers — Brief chapter but contains 2 Memories. One is near the flooded section, another behind a crawlspace only the cat can access. Look for yellow glowing objects low to the ground.
Antvillage — Vertical area with 3 Memories on different platform levels. Climb all the way to the top before progressing the story.
Midtown — The most complex chapter. Memories are distributed across the apartment buildings and rooftops. Complete all optional errands for NPCs — several lead directly to Memory locations.
Cat Behaviour Trophies
Several trophies require you to be a cat: scratch every scratching post, knock objects off shelves (multiple times in multiple chapters), sleep in all available sleeping spots, and wear a traffic cone on your head (found in the Slums alleys). These are purely optional but charming completionist goals.
B-12's Memories Specifically
B-12's personal Memories unlock their backstory. These appear as small holographic projections when B-12 is active. Interacting with them is essential to understanding the full narrative. Miss none of the yellow-glowing scenes where B-12 reacts to their surroundings.
